This means any other person will have a very hard time stealing/using any of your information without your permission. Plus, your docking station keeps a backup of your Guardian every time you dock it. Just buy a replacement unit, pair it with your old dock, and you'll be back online before you know it. Understandably, this is everyone's top worry. But you're in good hands!
Nop! Unless they manage to fool the biometrics system and also know your access code (requested upon a valid biometric scan), no one will be able to use your device to login to your accounts. It doesn't matter how you are using your Guardian (via USB or Bluetooth), it will always require authentication.
No, and with good reason! To keep your accounts safe, the Guardian generates unique, long, and secure passwords on your behalf. Create a new login entry in your Guardian (e.g., "Personal Email"), and use the automatically generated password instead. You just need to set it up once!
Currently, there are two options for connectivity: USB and Bluetooth. The Guardian can operate without any software installation via either of these interfaces, so just plug it into your computer (or pair it with mobile devices), select which password you want to use on your Guardian, and you're good to go. Optionally, software downloads will be available for greater commodity. That way you'll no longer need to manually select which credentials to use. The Guardian will simply show a pop-up notification and await your confirmation.
We are still actively developing the Guardian and taking community feedback, so you won't see one on the shelves anytime soon. However, contributors to our crowdfunding campaign will have the opportunity to participate in our Alpha Program, where we will ship an early development unit to their door in exchange for continued feedback.
